Since 2001, Montana Interactive has been partnering with state, county and city governments to deliver easy-to-use, reliable eGovernment services and mobile solutions to the citizens and businesses of Montana and beyond. The majority of the services we deliver are offered at no cost to the state through our unique and innovative funding approach known as The Self-Funded Model.

Bringing Government to Citizens and Businesses

Per the findings of a 2015 study conducted by the Bureau of Business and Economic Research (BBER) at the University of Montana, Montanans want to interact with their government on-line through the use of easy-to-use eGovernment services. The citizens and businesses surveyed overwhelmingly stated that eGovernment services make interacting with government easier and more efficient. Of the 500 businesses surveyed, 94% reported greater efficiency through timely transactions, 92% reported Montana eGovernment services as reliable, and 78% said these services make it easier to conduct business.

Per the findings of the UM study referenced above, citizens and businesses want to interact with their government online and this is precisely what Montana Interactive delivers. Montana Interactive specializes in partnering with state, county and city entities to deliver effective and easy-to-use eGovernment services and solutions and we have been doing so since 2001. We have proudly served the state of Montana for over a decade and during this time, have implemented 2,001 eGovernment related activities across all levels of government.

Cost-Savings That Make a Difference

Through the use of the Self-Funded Model, the innovative funding approach unique to Montana Interactive, we are able to offer the majority of the services at no cost to the state or the customers utilizing these services. In doing so, the state of Montana has saved over 18.2 million dollars through its longstanding partnership with MI.
